Antique French Memorial Plaque

A wonderfully unusual antique French memorial plaque with a beautifully sculpted, draped form and an inscription commemorating Louis Genet and Camille Breton, who passed in 1904. 

The plaque is decorated with raised ornamental details, including flowing drapery, scalloped edging, and finial-like details at each upper corner. The deeply raised lettering has developed a wonderful aged patina, making the inscription especially striking against the weathered metal.
